VCS Approves New Methodology for ARR Activities
TerraCarbon is thrilled to announce that Verra has approved a new Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) methodology for use in its Verified Carbon Standard program. The methodology was developed by TerraCarbon in partnership with Silvestrum, and applies a number of innovations including a dynamic baseline approach for larger projects, simplified census based approach for small projects, and new leakage accounting methods. It marks the tenth nature-based methodology that TerraCarbon has supported since we started in 2006.
