TerraCarbon is seeking an Investor to fund the restoration of bottomland hardwood forest at Upper Ouachita National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in northwest Louisiana.
In return for the funding, the Investor will receive the rights to develop and register all carbon offsets that are generated by the project.
The Upper Ouachita (pronounced “washitaw”) NWR is one of five refuges that comprise the North Louisiana Refuges Complex. These refuges provide sanctuary to over 250 bird, 43 mammal, 150 fish, and 86 reptile and amphibian species.
